The challenge

Mostaco built its business by ensuring a high level of customer service, but to do this the company needed a system to document and organize customer data. Prior to implementing Zoho CRM, Mostaco founder Josef Carlo Velina found that their customer data wasn't properly organized. Spreadsheets were used to manage customer information and sales which was time-consuming and error-prone. As a result, leads and business opportunities were lost, and customer satisfaction decreased.

"Without a CRM solution, there was no central channel for communication and the team found it difficult to work together effectively and efficiently to collaborate on customer needs," Josef explained. "In addition, some sales opportunities were missed because there was no platform to keep track of sales procedures, resulting in the sales team not being able to close deals effectively."

The solution

Before adopting Zoho CRM, Moscato used Pipedrive CRM to manage their customer journeys. However, as the business grew, a visual interface that focused only on deals and sales pipelines was no longer sufficient for Moscato.

"When I was exploring various CRM options, I realized Zoho CRM had a more comprehensive interface that gave us a lot more options and features beyond pipelines," Josef said.

With Zoho CRM, Moscato now has a comprehensive and customizable solution that was better suited to their rapidly growing businesses. "Since using Zoho CRM, I am able to tailor my CRM to my business, as well as have access to advanced features for reporting and analytics. In addition, within the CRM we are able to add on integrations and program workflows to make the software a better fit for our company," Josef noted.
