Hello there!

Thank you for visiting the Zoho Certified Canvas Designers website. If you're here, you're probably interested in working with one of our designers to implement Canvas for your Zoho CRM account. Our certified designers will negotiate with you independently to design and implement Canvas for your business.

Here are a few things to keep in mind when working with designers.

  • 1. What is the Certified Canvas Designers Program?

The Certified Canvas Designers Program is a marketplace where you can find a list of designers to help develop Canvas templates for your business. The objective of this program is to offer you a personalized user experience.

Zoho CRM offers several predefined templates to help you get started. However, if you're looking for more customization and complex conditional layouts, you can reach out to any of our certified designers. They will help you design and implement Canvas to meet your needs.

  • 2. Where can I find a list of all the Certified Canvas Designers?

You may already be reading this on one of our sites which has a list of designers. If not, you can find the list at: www.zoho.com/canvas/certified-designers/

  • 3. Why do I need help implementing Canvas?

To help you get started, we offer you several predesigned templates, and you use those or build your own designs in Canvas. However, if you have more complex or unique business requirements, you may want help from an expert designer to customize Canvas to exactly suit your company's needs.

During Canvas implementation, our certified designers will work with you to understand your requirements, then design CRM UI to meet those requirements, and finally implement their design. Some designers can also help you with integrating third-party apps, workflow automation, custom module, user training, and other related services.

  • 4. Will Zoho be involved in the implementation?

Zoho's involvement in the implementation is limited to offering support for any product-related issues. Zoho will not play any role in the project implementation or the project's financial terms. You are free to negotiate directly with the designers and plan your Canvas implementation projects without involvement from Zoho.

  • 5. How can a Certified Canvas Designer help me?

Certified Canvas Designers are selected based on their design skills, product expertise, resources, and customer recommendations. The designers have experience in handling medium-to-large-scale projects in a range of different industries. They can help you create Canvas templates that suit your business processes, industry needs, and team preferences.

  • 6. How should I find and evaluate a Certified Designer?

There are a few ways you can identify the right designer for you. Here are some of the details listed in the designer pages that can help you evaluate them.

Geographical location: This tells you where the designers are located. If you need local assistance, you'll want to choose a designer based on their location and availability to cater to you locally. Local designers are likely to be experienced in local business practices and have locally relevant language skills. If you don't need local assistance, you can also choose to work with any of our designers remotely.

Expertise: This displays designer-specific product expertise. For example, a designer who lists 'Implementation' as their product expertise will be able to help you implement your CRM project,s from scope assessment to development, training, and continuous improvement.

Customer testimonials: Testimonials from real customers validate the designer's knowledge and ability to handle a project. This is a great parameter to identify designers you'd like to work with. We also recommend calling and interviewing designers before you commit to a project so you can make an informed decision.

Canvas template designs: Our designers have provided some sample designs to help you evaluate their design skills and styles. You can work with designers to recreate or adapt a template you see on their profile, or ask them to create something new just for you.

  • 7. How should I work with a certified designer?

After you've identified the right designer, we recommend a few steps for successful implementation.

    1. Prepare a clear business requirement document and share it with your designer. It should explain the needs of your business and what you seek to accomplish through the implementation project. Our designers may also help you put this together based on the discussions you have.

    2. Ensure the document states the following details: your business needs, the work required to implement the desired solution, the cost, timeline, payment schedules, and refund policy (if applicable) you agree to, and any other relevant details. It may also state how unplanned actions or additional scope will be addressed as the project evolves. Zoho will not be responsible for services delivered against any such contract.

    3. Once the requirement document is in place, review it and have both parties sign it to ensure that you agree on the implementation plan and its terms. This is also a way to avoid potential deviations, or to allow for them, through addendums.

    4. Before commencing the project, you must have a clear understanding of the cost. If you do not agree to a flat rate, ensure that you know how it will be calculated. Please note that the implementation fee is negotiated between the customer and the designer. Zoho is neither involved in either the contract or the implementation project. We also do not set fees or thresholds for partners or take any commission from them.

    5. Once the implementation is complete, we recommend that you ask for a training session where the designer takes you through the entire implementation. This is good practice to check for any deviations from the SOW and have them fixed right away.

  • 8. How can Zoho help?

Zoho will work with the designer on product-related queries or issues. We will also be able to guide designers through best practices while working on the implementation.

  • 9. What if I face challenges while working with a designer?

For any concerns related to Zoho CRM, you can reach out to our team at support@zohocrm.com. Our team will review your feedback and provide a quick resolution.

Issues with the implementation, refund of implementation fee, or non-adherence to SOW should be taken up directly with the designer.
