What should I do when a duplicate entry is posted while matching transactions?

Duplicate entries occur when there is a manually added transaction and a corresponding statement line that has been categorized manually, instead of matching with the manually added transaction.

In such a case you have three options.

  1. Delete the manually added transaction from Zoho Books (or)
  2. Uncategorize the statement line and match it with the manually added transaction (or)
  3. Uncategorize the statement line and exclude it from Zoho Books.
