Invite technicians:

  • Log in to your Zoho Assist and initiate a remote support session.
  • Click on the Invite Technician option available under the Session menu in the technician panel.
  • Enter the email address of the technician to be invited and click Send.
  • You can invite technicians within your organization or external technicians based on your preference.
  • You can also use the Bulk Invitation option to invite a group of technicians.

Create and assign roles:

  • To create a role, go to the User Management page, available under the Organization menu in Settings.
  • Click on the Role tab and select the New Role option available there.
  • Type the role name and description, and select the features to which the technician with the particular role should have access.
  • Click Save to save that customized role.
  • When you add a technician next time, you can select that particular role you created.

Monitor a session:

  • Monitor any remote support session by signing into your Zoho Assist account.
  • Select the Remote Support tab in the top menu bar.
  • Click Service Queue in the left panel.
  • Find the session you want to monitor and click Monitor next to it.
  • You can monitor the session in view-only mode.

How to Configure Remote Desktop Users Group Permissions?

  • To add a group before configuring permissions, click on Groups available under Settings.
  • Choose the New group option in the following page to create a new group.
  • Select the type of group and proceed with the next set of instructions to create a group.
  • Once you add a group, go to Organization under Settings and click on Manage Technicians.
  • Under Departments & Groups, select the groups that require permissions and click on the Done button.
