# How do I group items based on categories while creating a quote?

You can categorize items in your quotes using item headers. Here’s how:

1.  Click **Quotes** under _Sales_ in the left sidebar.
    
2.  [Create a new quote](/books/help/quote/#create-quote) or [edit an existing quote](/books/help/quote/other-actions.html#edit).
    
3.  Click the dropdown next to _Add New Row_ or the _More_ icon at the end of the line item and select **Add New Header**. ![Add New Header for Items in Quotes in Zoho Books](/books/kb/images/quotes/zb/add-new-header-quotes.png)
    

Now, a header will be added in which you can enter an appropriate heading and categorize items.
