# How do I create items in currencies other than my base currency?

To create items in currencies other than your base currency, you will have to [Enable Price Lists](www.zoho.com/za/books/kb/items/enable-pricelist.html).

**Note:** Price Lists is available only in certain plans of Zoho Books. Visit the [pricing page](www.zoho.com/books/pricing/pricing-comparison.html) to check if it’s available in your current plan.

After enabling price lists:

*   Go to _Items_ on the left sidebar, and select **Price Lists**.
*   Click **\+ New** in the top right corner of the page to create a new price list.
*   Enter a **Name** for the price list and select the _Transaction Type_ for the price list.
*   Select the _Price List Type_ as **Individual Items** and choose the _Pricing Scheme_.
*   Now, select the **Currency** you prefer.
*   Enter the other necessary details, and click **Save**.

**Note:** You cannot edit the **Transaction Type** and **Price List Type** of an existing price list.

By following the steps above, you will have now created items with different currencies.
