How do I change the details of my customer that gets shown on my invoice or any other sales transaction?

To change the customer’s details displayed on your sales transactions:

  • Click the Gear icon on the top right right corner of the page.
  • Select Preferences.
  • Under General, scroll down to the Contact Billing Address and Contact Shipping Address.
  • Click the Insert Placeholders drop-down and select the fields of the customer you wish to display on the invoice.
  • You can remove the fields which you don’t want to display by removing the text from the Placeholders box. For instance, if you want to remove the City field from your invoice, delete the tex ${CONTACT.CONTACT_CITY}.
  • Click Save.
