# How can I rename or delete a document in Zoho Books?

You can rename or delete the document like receipts, attachments, etc., from the Documents module in Zoho Books.

**Prerequisite:** You should have [enabled Documents](https://www.zoho.com/books/help/documents/documents.html#enabling-the-documents-module) enabled Documents for your organization in Zoho Books.

*   Go to **Documents** on the left sidebar.
*   Select the **All Documents** tab in the left sidebar.
*   Select the file you wish to rename or delete.
*   Click the **Gea**r icon next to the Move to tab on the right sidebar.
*   Click **Rename** or **Delete**.

You can press the enter or return key to confirm your renaming action.
