# How are decimal values handled in sales transactions?

You can configure how decimal values should be handled in sales transactions. Here’s how:

*   Go to **Settings**.
*   Select **General** under _Preferences_.
*   You will see a header **Rounding off in Sales Transactions**.
*   You can choose between the options available: **No Rounding** and **Round off the total to the nearest whole number**.
*   Click **Save** to update your preferences.
