Working with Documents Offline

With Offline Mode enabled, Writer lets you work on your documents even when you don't have reliable internet access. Any changes made while you're offline will sync automatically the next time you connect your computer to the internet.

Enable offline mode

You can launch the offline mode in just a few clicks.

To enable offline setup,

  1. Go to https://writer.zoho.com/documents
  2. Choose Offline from the left panel of the dashboard.
  3. Click Enable Writer Offline.

Please wait sometime for the files to be synced offline. Once the setup is enabled, you can edit most recent documents in offline mode.

Note:

  • To enable offline access to other documents, you have to manually select that particular document and click "Make Available Offline."
  • Offline documents are browser dependent. You need to set up offline mode again, if you choose to use a new browser.
