Expiration Alerts

(Available in Standard, Professional, and Enterprise Editions)

Zoho Vault provides you with the option to specify  the age  of secrets as part of defining password policy. When administrators enforce such a  policy, they  will  send email notifications to users  as their password is about to expire. By default, password owners will be notified  three days in advance and every day  going forward  until it expires.

How do I configure expiration alerts?

Go to Audit >>  Expiry Alerts >> and click  "Enable secret  expiry notification and alerts." By default, all user profiles will be configured to receive  expiration alerts.  However, you can exempt specific users from receiving the alerts using the "Exempt specific users/Modify exemption" option available in the web console.

How  do I exempt specific users/modify exemptions?

  • Go to Audit >>  Expiry Alerts >> and click  "Enable secret  expiry notification and alerts."
  • Click  "Exempt specific users/Modify exemption."
  • The "Users" field will display the list of users in your organization. Select the list of users who should not receive the expiration alerts and add them to the Exempted Users side.
  • Click Save.
