# Which report helps me forecast how fast I will run out of stock?

Use the **Inventory Turnover By Quantity** report (Inventory category) combined with the **Stock Summary** report. The turnover report shows how many times each item’s stock was fully cycled during a period — the higher the turnover, the faster it sells. Dividing current stock on hand by the average daily sales rate gives you an estimated days-of-stock remaining.

For a value-based view, use the **Inventory Turnover By Amount** report (Inventory Valuation category).
