How do I find the outstanding amount that customers owe me?

As the current financial year comes to a close, it is important to follow up and clear any payments that your customers have not made yet. The Customer Balances report in Zoho Books can be used to find out if any of your customers have any outstanding balances.

To view your customer balances:

  • Go to the** Reports** module from the sidebar. 
  • Choose the Customer Balances report under the Receivables section and you can view the outstanding balances, if any, along with the customer name and available credits.

  • Click the Calendar dropdown on the top left and select Previous Year/ This year to filter your report.

A report will be generated that contains your customers’ outstanding balances either for the previous financial year or for the current financial year based on your choice.

You can also click the** Export As** dropdown and select a file format to export your report.
