How do I hide the selling price and purchase price of items from specific users in my organization?

To hide the item pricing details for a specific group of users:

  • Head to Settings.
  • If you’ve enabled Inventory Tracking, click Items under Items or click Items under Preferences.
  • Click the Field Customization tab.
  • Click the down arrow next to the status tab in the selling price or purchase price field.
  • Select Configure Access.
  • Choose from the options: Read and Write, Read Only, and Hide Selling/Purchase Price against each role.
  • Save your selection.

    Note: By default, the admins of your organisation will have permission to read and write the Sales Price and Purchase Price fields, and you will not be able to change this permission for admins.
