What is the Accountant role?

The Accountant role in Zoho Books can be enabled to allow your accountants to take care of your organization’s tax filing, auditing, and compliance. You can create a new role and enable the accountant option or convert any current custom role.

To enable the Accountant role:

  • Go to Settings and then Users and Roles.
  • Navigate to the Roles tab.
  • Click New Role to create a new role or edit any custom role.
  • Enable the option This role is for Accountant users.
  • Set the required permissions and click Save.
