Why is the data missing in the PDF when it was visible during the preview of the PDF template?

The data will not reflect in the PDF if the data contains characters that are not supported by the font used in the PDF template. You have to change the font of the PDF to view the data. Here’s how:

  • Go to Settings in the top right corner.
  • Click PDF Templates under Customization.
  • Select the required module in the Templates pane.
  • Hover over the template for which you want to change the font and click Edit.
  • Click General on the left sidebar.
  • Expand the Font section, click the dropdown below PDF Font, and select the preferred font. A subtext mentioning the language supported by the font will be shown.
  • Click Preview to verify that the data is being displayed in the font that you selected.
  • Click Save.

The data will now be displayed properly in the PDF template.
