How do I change my portal name?

You can change the portal name only if the name you want to use is available. If any other Zoho Books organization has used the name you want to update, you will not be able to use it.

To update your portal’s name:

  • Go to Settings in the top right corner.
  • Select Customer Portal or Vendor Portal under Preferences.
  • Click Edit in the portal details section.
  • Enter the new name in the Portal Name field and click Save.

Your portal’s name will be updated, and the portal URL will be changed.

Ensure that you resend the portal link to your customers and as the old URL will no longer be valid and they’ll not be able to use the old portal URL to log in to the. Here’s how:

  • Go to Sales on the left sidebar and select Customers or go to Purchases on the left sidebar and select Vendors.
  • Select the customers and vendors for whom you’ve enabled the portal.
  • Click Resend Portal Link in the Overview tab of the customer’s or vendor’s Details page.
