# Preferences

Let’s have a look at the various settings you can configure for the Projects module in Zoho Books.

To configure preferences for the Projects module:

*   Go to **Settings** on the top right corner of the page.
*   Select **Projects** under _General_.

## Fields

You can create new fields for the Projects module and assign different data types for each of them. Learn more about [Fields](/us/books/help/settings/customization/custom-fields.html).

## Buttons
