# How do I delete my customer’s associated payment methods?

To delete your customer’s associated payment methods:

*   Go to the **Customers** module from the left sidebar.
*   Select a customer.
*   Click the **Trash** icon next to the payment method that you want to delete in the customer’s **Overview** tab.

**Warning:** This will delete the payment method from the Payment Gateway in which it is stored as well. If your customer has active billing, deleting this payment method may cause auto-charge to fail for them.
