It determines how information is presented during checkout and the steps customers follow to complete their purchase. You can customize its appearance, checkout fields, payment options, and Thank You messages to create the checkout experience that best suits your business. Hosted Payment Pages are available as [Multi-Page](/us/billing/help/settings/hosted-payment-pages/templates.html#multi-page) and [Single Page](/us/billing/help/settings/hosted-payment-pages/templates.html#single-page) templates. They differ in how information is organized during checkout and how customers complete their purchase. ![Hosted Payment Page Template Types](/billing/images/help/images/hosted-payment-page/different-templates.png) ## Multi-Page The Multi-Page template breaks checkout into separate steps, allowing customers to provide information, review their selections, and complete their payment step-by-step. The template is organized into the following configuration sections, which you can customize to control what information is collected from customers: **Order Summary → Account Information → Address → Final Review → Payment** **Note:** By default, organizations created on or after 24 July 2026 will have this Single Page layout. It displays coupons, taxes, and the final payable amount together in the Final Summary section. It also supports [invoice and customer custom fields](/us/billing/help/settings/hosted-payment-pages/template-configuration.html#prefill-hpp). For existing organizations, reach out to us at [](mailto:support@zohobilling.com)[support@zohobilling.com](mailto:support@zohobilling.com) to enable it. ![Multi-Page Template](/billing/images/help/images/hosted-payment-page/multi-page.png) **Use Multi-Page when you need to:** * Reduces chances of errors by presenting information in smaller, dedicated stages. * Provides a mobile-friendly checkout experience with a step-by-step layout that’s easy to navigate on smaller screens. ### Single Page **Note:** By default, organizations created on or after 2024 July 2026 will have this Single Page checkout layout. It supports [user verification](/us/billing/help/settings/hosted-payment-pages/template-configuration.html#user-verification) and [abandoned cart tracking](/us/billing/help/settings/hosted-payment-pages/abandoned-cart-tracking.html). For existing organizations, reach out to us at [](mailto:support@zohobilling.com)[support@zohobilling.com](mailto:support@zohobilling.com) to have it enabled. The Single Page template presents the entire checkout; order details, account information, address, and payment, on one scrollable page. Customers can review all the required information and complete their purchase without switching between pages. ![Single Page Template](/billing/images/help/images/hosted-payment-page/single-page.png) **Use Single Page when you need to:** * Reduces checkout time and minimise cart abandonment. * Provides customers with a clear, all-in-one view of their purchase before payment. * * * ## Create a New Hosted Payment Page Template To create a Hosted Payment Page template: * Log in to your Zoho Billing organization. * Go to _Settings_. * Select **Hosted Payment Pages**. * Click **New Template**. * In the **Choose Template** dialog, select **Use This** under [_Single Page_](/us/billing/help/settings/hosted-payment-pages/templates.html#single-page) or [_Multi-page_](/us/billing/help/settings/hosted-payment-pages/templates.html#multi-page) according to your needs. **Note:** The template you choose cannot be changed after a template is created. You can create or clone a template instead. * Enter a **Template Name**. * Select the template’s **Primary Language** from the dropdown. * Configure the template sections: * [General Preferences](/us/billing/help/settings/hosted-payment-pages/template-configuration.html#general-preferences) * [Order Details](/us/billing/help/settings/hosted-payment-pages/template-configuration.html#order-details) * [Payment Information](/us/billing/help/settings/hosted-payment-pages/template-configuration.html#payment-information) * [Messages & Notes](/us/billing/help/settings/hosted-payment-pages/template-configuration.html#messages-notes) * [Thank You Page](/us/billing/help/settings/hosted-payment-pages/template-configuration.html#thank-you-page) * Click the **Checkout Page** dropdown in the preview panel to switch between checkout steps. * Click **Save**. Once saved, the template appears in the Hosted Payment Page Templates list and can be linked to your plans or products. * * * ### Add a Language to a Template You can make a template available in multiple languages. Each language version of a template can have its own translated content. **Scenario:** Patricia is the Head of Subscriptions at Zylker Technologies LLC and is expanding into the French market. She adds French as a language to her existing Multi-Page template, translates the page labels and confirmation messages. When she shares the Hosted Payment Page URL, her customers can choose their preferred language and complete their purchase. Because she adds the language to the same template, Patricia does not need to recreate the layout, branding, or configuration settings from scratch. To add a language: * Log in to your Zoho Billing organization. * Go to _Settings_. * Select **Hosted Payment Pages**. * Click **Add Language** on the template card. * Select a language from the **Additional Language** dropdown. * Click **Add**. * Configure the translated content for the language version in the template editor. * Click **Save**. ![Add a language](/billing/images/help/images/hosted-payment-page/other-language.png) **Insight:** Enable the _Allow customers to switch between template languages_ toggle to let customers select their preferred language at checkout. When enabled, a language selector appears on the page, allowing customers to switch between any languages you’ve configured for the template. * * * ### Mark a Language as Primary The primary language is the default language in which the template is displayed. When a template has multiple languages, you can designate any of them as the primary language. To mark a language as primary: * Log in to your Zoho Billing organization. * Go to _Settings_. * Select **Hosted Payment Pages**. * Click **Edit Labels** on the template card. * Select the language you want to make primary from the dropdown. * In the template editor, click **Switch to Primary** in the top bar. * Click **Save**. **Note:** The current primary language is indicated with **(Primary)** next to its name in the **Edit Labels** dropdown. * * * ### Edit Language Labels For templates that have multiple languages configured, you can edit the translated labels, button text, and messages for each language individually using **Edit Labels**. To edit labels for a language: * Log in to your Zoho Billing organization. * Go to _Settings_. * Select **Hosted Payment Pages**. * Click **Edit Labels** on the template card. * Select the language you want to edit from the dropdown and make changes as required. * Click **Save**. * * * ## Manage Templates After creating a template, you can [edit](/us/billing/help/settings/hosted-payment-pages/templates.html#Edit-Template), [clone](/us/billing/help/settings/hosted-payment-pages/templates.html#clone), [delete](/us/billing/help/settings/hosted-payment-pages/templates.html#delete), and [set a default template](/us/billing/help/settings/hosted-payment-pages/templates.html#mark-default) to manage your Hosted Payment Pages. ### Mark a Template as Default The default template is used for all Hosted Payment Page links of your plans or items that do not have a specific template assigned.
