A default category in mileage expense, is a category to which any and all mileage expenses are mapped to and categorised under. A default mileage category for a particular policy has to be assigned in the Policies section by the admin and cannot be entered while recording mileage expenses.
- Switch to Admin View.
- Click the icon in the top right corner.
- Go to Policies under Users and Control.
- Click the policy for which you want to select a default category.
- Navigate to Mileage and select a default category from the dropdown.
- Click Save.
