How do I deregister from VAT?
If your organisation is no longer meeting the eligibility criteria set by HMRC or has a turnover less than £83,000, you should cancel your VAT registration.
To deregister VAT in Zoho Books:
- Go to Settings in the top right corner.
- Click Taxes under Taxes & Compliance.
- Select VAT Settings from the left sidebar.
- Click Deregister in the top right corner of the page.
- Choose a VAT Deregistration Date and click Deregister.
Your organisation will no longer remain as a VAT registered business after the deregistration process.
