Can I handle a sole trader business and a landlord business in the same organisation?

You can manage self-employed and UK property income in the same Zoho Books organisation. Here’s how:

Go to Settings.
Select Profile under Organisation.
Set the Business Type to Sole Trader.
Configure MTD for Income Tax and select your Self Employed business.
Click + Add UK Property.
Select your UK Property business.
Verify the details and click Save.

If the organisation’s Business Type is set to Landlord, you can select only a UK Property business. Foreign property income is not currently supported in Zoho Books.
