How do I record transactions without invoices so they are included in my MTD quarterly update?

You can record a transaction directly in the relevant bank or cash account without creating an invoice. Here’s how:

Go to Banking on the left sidebar.
Select Petty Cash or the Bank Account in which you received the payment.
Click Add Transaction.
Select Sales Without Invoices under Money In.
Enter the required transaction details.
Click Save.

The transaction will be considered when generating the relevant MTD quarterly update, based on its date and tax basis. Ensure that the selected revenue account is mapped to the appropriate income category while finalising the quarterly update.
