# How do I change the file name of an invoice?

You cannot directly rename an attached file in Zoho Billing. To change the file name, download the file, rename it, and attach it again. Here’s how:

*   Go to **Invoices** under _Sales_.
*   Select the invoice whose attachment you want to rename.
*   Click the attachment and download it to your device.
*   Rename the downloaded file on your device.
*   Delete the existing attachment from the invoice.
*   Click **Upload Files** and upload the renamed file.
