Response Templates

Pre-compose and save email templates that your entire team can use while responding to queries. Save yourself from writing the same content repeatedly and assure quicker replies. This will also help you maintain consistency in the emails that go from your team.

Setting up Response Templates

  1. Login to Zoho TeamInbox.
  2. From the left pane, hover over the team for which you want to set up the Response Templates, click the More icon and click Manage team.
  3. Select Response Templates and click Create now.
  4. Enter the Name and the Subject of your response.
  5. Enter the content into the editor.
  6. You can include placeholders, which will automatically be replaced with the user’s actual details when the email is sent. Type '{ ' (curly bracket) into the editor, which will show you a list of the variables you can use. Choose one from them.

  7. Choose if you want to make this Response Templates accessible to all the inboxes under the team or make it available only for specific inboxes you select.
  8. Click Save.

While composing email, click Insert Template and choose your response from the list.
