Zoho TeamInbox Integration in Microsoft Power Automate

Microsoft Power Automate, formerly known as Microsoft Flow, is a cloud-based automation service that enables users to build workflows for automating routine tasks. It connects various apps and services through ready-to-use connectors, helping streamline daily operations. When integrated with Zoho TeamInbox, it allows users to create automated flows to perform actions like sending emails, adding new contacts, searching emails. Users can also manage threads—such as archiving and assigning or trashing them.

Prerequisites

To create a new connection:

  1. Log in to your Power Automate account and, go to Connections on the left menu.select Connections
  2. Search and select Zoho TeamInbox.
  3. Select the domain where your Zoho account resides.
  4. Enter your Zoho TeamInbox credentials and authorize Power Automate to access your Zoho account.

  5. Even if the power app is shared with another user, they should create a new connection to start using it.

Creating a workflow to send an email using the Zoho TeamInbox connector

  1. Log in to your Power Automate account and click Create from the left menu.
  2. You can choose to create a cloud flow, desktop flow, or business flow based on your preference.

  3. To configure the Send an email action using Zoho TeamInbox, choose the Instant cloud flow option.
  4. In the Build an Instant cloud flow pop-up, choose Manually trigger a flow or any other triggers from the list provided and click Create.

  5. Click on the + icon and choose Add an action.

  6. Search and choose Zoho TeamInbox.
  7. Choose Send an email from the provided list of actions.

  8. Choose the organization, team, inbox, from email address, and other details to send an email.

Based on the trigger configured, an email will be sent to the recipient addresses configured in the Send email action section.

Supported actions

The Zoho TeamInbox connector enables the creation of workflows for the following actions.

  • Create contact : A new contact is created under the team, with the name, email address and phone number.
  • Send email: Users can compose and send a new email to one or more recipients, supporting attachments, CC/BCC, and formatting.
  • Search mail : Search emails in an inbox based on filters such as subject, keyword, channel type, archived status, creation date, sender and more.
  • Archive thread: Move a message or email thread to the archive folder for long-term storage or record-keeping.
  • Assign thread: Assign ownership of a message or email thread to a chosen team member for follow-up or resolution.
  • Trash thread: Move a message or email thread to the trash, indicating it is marked for deletion.
