Zoho CRM is a customer relationship management tool that lets you manage your contacts, reach customers through multiple channels, and drive sales. With Zoho TeamInbox's eWidget, access Zoho CRM from your inbox. This extension lets you view your contacts' Zoho CRM related information and activities. You can also create deals, notes, tasks and events for a contact directly from Zoho TeamInbox. ​

To use Zoho CRM eWidget: 

  1. Login to Zoho TeamInbox.
  2. Click the Discussions icon at the top right corner of the thread and select the Extensions tab.
  3. Select the Zoho CRM app from the eWidgets list. 

Here you can view the contact info and their activities.

Add contact or lead from an email

You can add the email address in the From or To field of an email as a contact or lead in Zoho CRM directly from Zoho TeamInbox.

  1. Click the Discussions icon at the top right corner of the thread and select the Extensions tab.
  2. Select the Zoho CRM app from the eWidgets list.
  3. Select the email address you want to add from the drop down.
  4. Select if you want to add the address as a lead or a contact.
  5. Fill in the basic details.
  6. Click Save

This email address will now be added as a lead or contact in Zoho CRM.

Add an activity for the contact or lead

You can add tasks, or schedule meetings and calls from the Activities section.

  1. Click the Discussions icon at the top right corner of the thread and select the Extensions tab.
  2. Select the Zoho CRM app from the eWidgets list.
  3. Select the email address you want to add the activity for from the drop down.
  4. Click on the Activities tab.
  5. Choose if you want to create a task or schedule a meeting or call.
  6. Fill in the details.
  7. Click Save

Activity will now be added for this contact or lead in Zoho CRM.

Send email to a contact or lead

You can send your email templates saved in Zoho CRM to a contact or lead from Zoho TeamInbox.

  1. Click the Discussions icon at the top right corner of the thread and select the Extensions tab.
  2. Select the Zoho CRM app from the eWidgets list.
  3. Select the email address you want to add the activity for from the drop down.
  4. Click Send Email and click Select Template.
  5. Choose from the templates listed.
  6. Fill in the basic details.
  7. Click Send.

Settings

Find the settings icon at the top right corner of the Zoho CRM eWidget. Here you can choose the organization for which you want to view Zoho CRM information.
