Canned responses

Pre-compose and save email templates that your entire team can use while responding to queries. Save yourself from writing the same content repeatedly and assure quicker replies. This will also help you maintain consistency in the emails that go from your team.

Setting up Canned Responses

  1. Login to Zoho TeamInbox.
  2. From the left pane, mouse over the team for which you want to set up the Canned Response, click the More icon and click Manage team.
  3. Select the Canned Response tab and click Create.
  4. Enter the Name and the Subject of your response.
  5. Enter the content into the editor. You can also include variables which will be replaced with users' values. Type ' { ' (curly bracket) into the editor which will show you a list of the variables you can use. Choose one from them.
  6. Choose if you want to make this Canned Response accessible to all the inboxes under the team or make it available only for specific inboxes you select.
  7. Click Save.

While composing email, click Insert Template and choose your response from the list.
