Customer Portal: Invitation Template

Zoho Support provides you with a default e-mail invitation to invite your customers to access the customer portal. You can customize the invitation as per your requirements.

Customizing the Customer-portal Invitation

To customize the customer-portal invitation, follow the steps given below:

  1. Click Setup
  2. In the Channels section, click Customer Portal and then click Invitation Template
  3. In the body of the e-mail, make the required changes
  4. Click Save

You can preview the changes you have made before you send it.

Sending the Customer-portal Invitation

To send the customer-portal invitation, follow the steps given below:

  1. Click Setup
  2. In the Channels section, click Customer Portal and then click Invitation Template
  3. Select the e-mail ID from which you want to send the invitation
  4. Enter an e-mail ID to which you want to send the invitation
  5. Enter an appropriate subject
  6. Map the merge fields as required
  7. Copy the merge-field value and replace the fields in the e-mail body with them
  8. Preview the changes, if required
  9. Click Save

You can re-invite users if required. After users accept the invitation, they can access the customer portal.
