Recurring renewal, commonly referred to as auto-renewal, is a convenient feature that ensures your subscription is continuously active without the need for manual intervention. When you enable recurring renewal, the system automatically processes payments at the end of each billing cycle - whether monthly, quarterly, or yearly - using your preferred payment method. This system eliminates the need for you to manually renew your subscription and guarantees that your service will not be interrupted.
With recurring renewal in place, your account will automatically be charged on the renewal date, and as long as the payment is successfully processed, your access to the service will continue seamlessly. This setup not only saves you time but also reduces the risk of service disruptions caused by expired subscriptions. By using auto-renewal, you can enjoy uninterrupted access to your services, allowing you to focus on your work without having to worry about remembering renewal dates.
Payment Options by Region
The availability of recurring and non-recurring payment options varies by region:
- Most Countries: Only recurring payments are supported.
- Indonesia: Only non-recurring (one-time) payments are available.
- India: Both recurring and non-recurring payment options are supported.
Recurring Payment Process
For recurring customers, payments are processed automatically using the saved payment method (credit card, debit card, or PayPal). The process follows these steps:
Initial Payment Attempt:
- The system will automatically attempt to charge the saved payment method on the actual renewal date.
Retry Attempts for Failed Payments:
- If the initial charge fails, the system will retry the payment every three days, up to a maximum of five attempts.
- Example: If the first attempt is on January 1st, the second attempt will be made on January 4th, and so on.
- During this grace period, the subscription remains active, and renewal can still be completed without service interruption.
Grace Period and Subscription Suspension:
- If payment is not received by the end of the grace period, the subscription will be suspended or canceled.
Note: To avoid service interruptions, ensure that your saved payment method is up to date. You can update your payment details at any time through the Manage Subscription page.
