Web vs. Mobile App Features Comparison
Understanding a feature-packed social media marketing tool can be quite overwhelming, to say the least. Particularly when you are new to the product, and you're still trying to figure your way around. However, that's what we are here for—to help make your experience using Zoho Social easy and hassle-free.
Zoho Social is available on the web, as well as on a mobile app. To get started, connect your Facebook page, LinkedIn company page, Google + page, or your Twitter and Instagram profiles. We want you to stay connected to all things social and make the most of your social media marketing efforts.
This is why we have created a table that differentiates the features present on the web from that of the mobile app. Take a look to understand what feature works best for the web and the mobile app, and how this can help your business:
Some of the features on the mobile app work differently from that of the web app. Such as:
- Link Shortener: The initial process of setting up your default link shortener can be done only from the web app. You can choose whether to use zurl.co or bit.ly. While creating your posts on the web app, you can choose to shorten links by checking the Shorten Link box. With the mobile app, you're only able to enable or disable the Link shortener.
- SmartQ: On the web app, you can choose when best to publish your post by selecting from a list of the best dates and times generated by our tool. However, on the mobile app, Smart Q chooses the next best time to post within the next 24 hours.
- Drafts: You can work on your posts offline on your mobile app and save them as drafts. Once you're back online, the posts will be automatically synced with your dashboard.
- Instagram Publishing: This works a bit differently on Zoho Social. In order to publish Instagram posts, you need to have the latest version of the Zoho Social Mobile App. Once you have the app installed and Notifications turned on, you will be able to publish your posts via Zoho Social.
