Creating posts for a Target Audience
Post Targeting on Facebook
When you're creating a post on Facebook, you'll be able to target your posts to audiences in a particular country. Here's how you can target audience for your Facebook posts:
- Click the Set targeting icon in the bottom-left corner of the Publishing Window.
- Enter the countries you'd like to target your post to
- Click Set.
Post targeting feature is only available for Facebook Pages and not for Facebook Groups.
Post Targeting on LinkedIn
Whether you're reaching out to your audience in a particular location, or those who are performing specific job functions,
Post Targeting helps you direct your posts to the right audience on your LinkedIn Company page. To target your posts to a specific set of audience:
- Select the LinkedIn company page icon from the Publishing window
- Click the Set Targeting icon, and type in Location, and the job functions of your audience you'd like to target your post to.
- Click Set.
Targeted Publishing is available only when you're publishing content on a Facebook page, or a LinkedIn Company page. Your post must target at least 300 followers on LinkedIn
Time Warp
When you set targeting for your post, you'll also be able to use the
TimeWarp feature in Zoho Social. You'll find this above the
Schedule button after you set targeting for your posts. The feature will help you consistently post your content at the same time across different timezones. For example, if you schedule a post at 5 pm with TimeWarp, it will be published at 5 pm in every country you've chosen to publish it across.
Once you're done crafting your content, adding images, selecting the channels you want to post to, and setting targeting, if any, you'll be ready to publish your content. Hit
Post Now in the publishing window, and your post will go live.
TimeWarp is exclusively available for Facebook Pages only.
