Meet Anirudh Parashar
Anirudh Parashar is the go-to-market (GTM) lead at Webnyay, with two years of experience in GTM strategy, process optimization, and growth management across grievance redressal, dispute resolution, and other legal services. Prior to his shift into legal technology, Anirudh pursued a career in marine engineering research.
What does Webnyay do?
Founded in 2020 in New Delhi, India, Webnyay specializes in online dispute resolution (ODR) and grievance redressal. It's an end-to-end legal-tech platform whose mission is to provide fast, efficient, and affordable justice to all. Webnyay's vision is to democratize justice and ensure its swift accessibility to anyone who needs it. It takes complaints and resolutions out of traditional courtrooms and digitizes processes for speedier, more accurate, and cheaper legal solutions.
How does Webnyay do it?
Webnyay utilizes legal technology tools—including artificial intelligence and automation software—to resolve grievances and disputes smoothly. Some of the key areas it helps in are digital case management, document automation, seamless arbitration, and mediation for businesses and individuals alike. Its user-friendly dashboard, AI-supported chat assistance, and quick redressal mechanisms help users resolve disputes from anywhere, securely and confidentially, with just an internet connection.
The Challenge
Webnyay faced trouble with timely signature collection, document tracking, and guaranteeing security and non-repudiability of signed documents.
Anirudh sheds light on the internal challenges, saying, "Documentation is plenty at Webnyay and requires [us] to move quick. Managing high volumes of paperwork requiring signatures from multiple parties—such as arbitrators, claimants, and respondents—led to significant delays when done physically."
It was also challenging to organize various types of legal files, such as agreements, notices, and awards. He adds, "Tracking and organizing hundreds of legal documents manually was inefficient and error-prone."
On the topic of security and compliance, Anirudh explains,
The Solution
The Webnyay team was on the lookout for a digital signature and agreement management platform, and Zoho Sign was the first tool on the list. After some experimenting, it was clear to the team that it was the right choice.
The bulk sending and signing features are particularly useful. "When dealing with arbitration, we often send documents that require signatures from multiple parties. We can collect as well as sign a list of documents in a few clicks," says Anirudh. The platform also makes the entire signing process more transparent. "Zoho Sign lets us track the signing status in real time and set automated reminders. This way, we know who views and signs our documents, and can rest assured that they will be sent reminders too," he explains.
Plus, compliance is simpler than ever. "We can now guarantee secure and legally compliant e-signature flows for our signers with complete, tamper-free audit logs," says Anirudh. "In short, once we moved to Zoho Sign, there was no looking back!"
Benefits and ROI
Webnyay has experienced significant improvements in document signing and management since adopting Zoho Sign.
Anirudh adds that the platform has "transformed" Webnyay's approach to document management, calling it "an essential tool for anyone handing large amounts of legal paperwork."
Looking Forward
Webnyay loves the Zoho Sign experience and looks forward to continue using its other India-specific features like interstate eStamping.
