Meet Dan Griffith
With more than 30 years of experience in sales and marketing, Dan Griffith is a resourceful growth strategies. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer of GrowDGtal, a company that primarily focuses on helping businesses across scales of operations to better understand why their marketing campaigns fail and why revenue plateaus due to improper strategies via sales, marketing, and growth strategy consultancy for early-stage and growth-stage companies.
A strong believer in creating efficient and sustainable processes that help businesses avoid growth stunts, he has faith that every business can improve from its current state of stagnancy, just as he tells all of his clients, "Let's build a system that scales beyond you."
What does GrowDGtal do?
GrowDGtal focuses on aiding businesses that have subpar internal marketing teams or unsatisfactory experiences with marketing agencies achieve better growth and visibility. It primarily serves digital-first businesses in regulated industries, such as fin-tech, insurance technology, and healthcare technology.
How does GrowDGtal do it?
GrowDGtal focuses on execution rather than just strategy. It aids companies optimize their marketing execution across multiple avenues, including website development, Google Ads, SEO, social media promotions, email campaigns, text marketing, podcasts, representation at domain-specific conferences and events, and more.
Griffith proudly shared, "Our clients' success is our success. We measure improvement through increased qualified sales conversations, progressive improvement in lead generation, and overall sales pipeline growth. Our services are designed to be a solution for founders and executives who are currently attempting to handle marketing themselves but finding it challenging to achieve consistent results. After working with GrowDGtal, our clients boast reduced executive time spent on marketing, more efficient spending, consistent lead flow and revenue, and an overall enhancement in their market presence and brand awareness."
The Challenge
Conducting paperwork manually and collecting wet-inked signatures brought up a range of inefficiencies for GrowDGtal. The primary challenge they faced was the delayed turnaround time. Getting documents signed, scanned, and returned safely by the deadline took a long time and often, lots of rework. The company could not close some deals and capitalize on revenue opportunities due to these delays.
"Our sales team sends contracts via email, but waiting for clients to print, sign, scan, and return them causes delays—sometimes weeks! This slows down deal closures and revenue recognition," Griffith explained.
Manual paperwork also opened GrowDGtal to the risks of non-compliance, document mishandling, and legal difficulties. As their paperwork was not digitally stored or centrally managed, the company feared data loss, forgery, and tampering.
GrowDGtal's remote teams found it more challenging as in addition to these difficulties, they struggled to coordinate approvals, emails, and document management, leading to inefficient remote operations. "Our remote teams struggled with document approvals, requiring physical signatures or mailing papers back and forth. This wasted a lot of time and resources too," Griffith noted.
Working closely with the strategic bottlenecks of companies in the IT services, Griffith was quick to realize that digitizing their paperwork and signatures was the only way forward. GrowDGtal adopted Docusign as their digital signature partner, but their challenges were still unresolved. The lack of integrations, expensive plans, and additional costs for scalable features added to their existing paperwork management difficulties.
The Solution
Zoho Sign was GrowDGtal's answer to all their paperwork hassles. From delayed paperwork turnarounds, security and compliance risks, lack of integrations, and pricey alternatives to inefficient workflows, every concern GrowDGtal faced was resolved once they adopted Zoho Sign.
"Earlier, our sales team faced long delays waiting for clients to print, sign, scan, and return contracts. Any errors in these agreements led us to redoing the entire paperwork and double the time taken to get them signed. Also, manually signed documents were prone to loss, tampering, or improper storage, risking compliance issues. Remote teams faced worse, having to rely on physical signatures but scan and email signed documents for approval." , added Dan.
Benefits and ROI
Having tried Docusign before, Griffith clearly saw the benefits of shifting to Zoho Sign.
"Our organization loves Zoho Sign's seamless integration with other Zoho apps, especially Zoho CRM, which streamlines contract management and approvals. Its automation capabilities save time by reducing manual document handling," Griffith elucidated.
He concluded:
