Meet Dan Griffith
A sales and marketing strategist and growth advisor with experience spanning three decades, Dan Griffith leads the family-owned flooring business, All About Flooring, as its Chief Executive Officer. Other than specializing in flooring, tiles, and rugs, Griffith is an expert at transforming failed marketing strategies of early and growth-stage businesses into successful, revenue-churning campaigns.
What does All About Flooring do?
All About Flooring was founded in 2008 during the Great Recession by Lew Grass, a well-known figure in upstate America's flooring and carpet industry, and his daughter, Becky Griffith. Its humble beginnings in a small storefront in South Carolina has seen tremendous growth, with the company now operating a 9,000 square-foot retail showroom in the same location.
All About Flooring continues to be family-run, managed by sons, daughters, grandnephews, grandsons, and granddaughters, all dedicated to carrying on the tradition that Grass and Becky Griffith began to provide quality flooring and carpeting works.
How does All About Flooring do it?
As a company that has garnered public trust for almost two decades, All About Flooring believes in creating comfortable homes for families. Being a local, multi-generational, and family-owned business, All About Flooring understands homeowners' dreams of creating their ideal home and is dedicated to provide them with high-quality products, professional installation, and exceptional customer service in flooring, carpeting, and tiling to make these dreams a reality.
"We offer the finest selection of hardwood, carpet, ceramic tile, lamination, and designer rugs for homeowners in the USA," Griffith proudly shared.
The Challenge
Before using Zoho Sign, All About Flooring conducted paperwork manually. This gave rise to countless challenges like document misplacement, tampering risks, inaccurate record-keeping, and lack of compliance with industry standards.
"Manually signed contracts are vulnerable to getting misplaced or altered, creating headaches when it comes to maintaining accurate records for warranties, service agreements, and keeping with industry regulations and compliance standards," Griffith explained.
All About Flooring also faced the possibility of customer dissatisfaction and lost deals due to slow contract turnaround.
The Solution
All About Flooring initially tried Docusign to solve their paperwork challenges, but found it hard to adapt when the business scaled. Lack of integration options and hidden fees for scalable features made it a bad fit for the company's needs. Griffith evaluated alternatives, and Zoho Sign proved to be the better choice due to their affordable plans, integrations with other Zoho apps, and fortified document security.
He delightedly continued, "The smooth integration with Zoho CRM lets us manage contracts directly within our processes and also lets us create custom templates for faster contract generation. The strong security features, like multi-factor authentication and audit trails, help us keep documents secure and compliant. Plus, the user-friendly interface and cloud-based system make it easy for our team to send and sign contracts quickly, boosting efficiency. There's nothing not to like!"
Benefits and ROI
As a former Docusign user, Griffith could see visible distinctions once he moved to Zoho Sign.
