# How do I set the background image in my invoice template?

To add a background image for a transaction PDF:

*   Go to **Settings** in the top right corner.
*   Click **PDF Templates** under _Customisation_.
*   Select the required module in the _Templates_ pane.
*   Hover over the required template and click **Edit**.
*   Click **General** on the left sidebar.
*   Expand the **Background** section and click **Choose From Desktop** below _Background Image_.
*   Select the image which you want to add as the background image.
*   You can choose where the image should be placed by selecting an option in the **Image Position** dropdown.
*   Click **Save**.
