# How do I reposition the custom fields to be displayed as columns in the item table?

To reposition the custom fields to be displayed as columns in the item table:

*   Click the **Settings** icon in the top right corner and select **Preferences**.
*   Select the module involved.
*   Switch to the **Field Customization** tab.
*   Click **Change order** in the top right corner.
*   Rearrange the order of the custom fields listed below by dragging and dropping the custom fields.
*   Click **Save Reorder**.

The custom fields that are displayed as columns in your item table will now be repositioned.
