# Simple Approval

In Simple Approval, any one admin or approver from the selected list can approve the transactions of a module. Once approved, users can perform further actions on the transaction.

## Enable Simple Approval

To enable Simple Approval for a module:

*   Go to **Settings** in the top right corner of the page.
*   Navigate to the module for which you want to enable approval.
*   Click the **Approvals** tab.
*   Select **Simple Approval** under _Approval Type_.
*   Select the **Approvers** who can approve transactions of this module.
*   Configure the _Approval Preferences_ and _Notification Preferences_ as required.
*   Click **Save**.

## Approval Preferences

Check **Allow approvers to approve the transactions they create** if you want approvers to be able to approve transactions they have submitted themselves.

## Notification Preferences

Check **Send email and in-app notifications when transactions are submitted for approval** to notify approvers. Then select one of the following options:

*   **Notify all approvers when a non-approver submits a transaction**: All approvers receive a notification only when a user without approval permission submits a transaction.
*   **Notify all approvers when an approver/non-approver submits a transaction**: All approvers receive a notification regardless of who submits the transaction.
*   **Notify a specific email address**: Send the notification to a single email address. Enter the email in the field provided.

Check **Notify the submitter when a transaction is approved or rejected** to notify the submitter of the approval outcome.
