Zoho RPA Agent
The execution of business process or workflow automation on your desktop machines is carried out through an installable agent software ("Zoho RPA Agent"). Your use of Zoho RPA Agent is governed by the license agreement accessible during the installation of the Zoho RPA Agent.
Accessing Zoho RPA
Zoho RPA is a part of Zoho's suite of online collaboration, business, and productivity applications. You will be able to access Zoho RPA by using your common account for all Zoho Services (hereinafter "Zoho Account").
Accessing other Zoho Services
Many Zoho Services are integrated with Zoho RPA. Your Zoho Account will also allow you to access all Zoho Services even if such Zoho Services are not integrated with Zoho RPA. Use of some of these Zoho Services may require acceptance of terms of service specific to such Zoho Services (hereinafter "Service Specific Terms"). You must read, understand and accept the Service Specific Terms before using the corresponding Zoho Service.
Web Automation
Zoho RPA includes a functionality to automate interactions with third-party websites, systems and services (collectively, "Third-Party Sites"), extraction of data, and other web-based tasks that are dependent on these Third-Party Sites. You are solely responsible for the usage of Zoho RPA, including ensuring that your use complies with all applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and contractual obligations, such as the terms of use, robots.txt directives, and access or scraping restrictions imposed by the Third-Party Sites.
You will independently determine the legality of your usage of Zoho RPA, including any web or data scraping, extraction, or automation, and will obtain all required rights, permissions, and consents from Third-Party Sites. You shall not use Zoho RPA to access, scrape, or otherwise automate interaction with any Third-Party Site (i) in violation of that site’s terms of service, acceptable use policy, robots.txt, rate limits, API license, or other access restrictions; (ii) in a manner that circumvents technical or access controls; or (iii) that would exceed any rights you have obtained from such Third-Party Site.
Restriction on High-Risk Use
You acknowledge and agree that Zoho RPA is not designed or intended for use in connection with any system, device, environment, or process that entails high precision or real-time safety controls, and where failure or malfunction could reasonably be expected to result in death, severe physical harm, significant environmental damage, or substantial property damage (collectively "High-Risk Uses"). High-Risk Uses include, without limitation, operation or control of (i) nuclear facilities; (ii) weapons; (iii) life support, emergency medical or critical-care systems; (iv) aircraft navigation or communication; and (v) autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle control system.
Customer's Responsibility for Process Selection
Zoho RPA does not support any functionality designed to assess process suitability for automation, advise on process selection, or otherwise support decision-making regarding automation, including without limitation process discovery or process mining capabilities. You are solely responsible for identifying, evaluating, and selecting any business processes to be automated using Zoho RPA, including determining suitability, expected benefits, risks, controls, and compliance requirements.
Usage limits for Zoho RPA
Zoho may prescribe usage limits based on the subscription plan chosen by you. You must make sure that your usage is within the usage limits prescribed by Zoho in order to avail uninterrupted service. You understand that Zoho may restrict an activity if you reach the usage limit corresponding to such activity.
Terms of use for API
Integration of Zoho RPA with Third Party Applications using APIs provided by Zoho requires technical skill. You understand that errors or defects in the integration may cause loss and corruption of data. You must make sure that you use the services of technically skilled persons for the integration. You agree that Zoho is not liable for any loss and corruption of data caused due to errors or defects in the integration. You must not try to access any functionality that is not exposed in the documentation for the API. You understand and agree that Zoho will not be liable for the consequences of accessing or using any unexposed functionality of the API.
API Usage Limits
Zoho may prescribe usage limits, including limits on the number of calls, number of records per call, bandwidth usage and frequency of calls. You are required to adhere to the usage limits prescribed by Zoho in order to avail uninterrupted service. You understand that Zoho may restrict an activity if you reach the usage limit corresponding to such activity and that an API call may either fail or be partially executed if the usage limits are reached before or during an API call.
API Deprecation
Zoho, in its discretion, may cease providing the current version of the API either as a result of discontinuation of the API or upgradation of the API to a newer version. In both cases, the current version of the API will stand deprecated and become the deprecated version of the API (hereinafter "Deprecated Version"). When Zoho decides to deprecate the current version of the API, You will be informed about such deprecation through a service announcement. For a period of six months following announcement of deprecation (hereinafter the "Deprecation Period"), Zoho will use commercially reasonable efforts to support the Deprecated Version. You understand that Zoho is not obliged to provide the features of the newer version in the Deprecated Version. Zoho in its discretion may cease supporting the Deprecated Version during the Deprecation Period if i) Zoho is required to do so by law or ii) You have breached any provision of these Terms or the General Terms of Service or iii) Zoho determines that supporting the API is likely to result in a security risk to Zoho.
Modification of Terms of Use
Zoho reserves the right to modify Zoho RPA Terms of Use. Modifications to the Terms of Use are effective upon your use of Zoho RPA subsequent to publication of such modification.
