# How do I clone a template from one module to another?

You can clone a template from one module to another for the following modules:

*   Invoices
*   Sales Orders
*   Quotes
*   Retainer Invoices
*   Credit Notes
*   Purchase Orders

To clone a template:

*   Go to **Settings** in the top right corner.
*   Select **PDF Templates** under _Customisation_.
*   Select the module containing the template which you want to clone in the _Templates_ pane.
*   Hover over the template you want to clone.
*   Click the _Gear_ icon and select the module to which you want to clone the template. You’ll be redirected to the _Edit Template_ page.
*   Verify the template details and click **Save**.
