# Is it possible to run a balance sheet for a particular date range?

Balance sheet report can only be run for _as of date_ and not for particular date range. As a workaround, you can run the **Trial Balance** report for particular date range and check the balances of the accounts.

Here’s how:

*   Go to the **Reports** module.
*   Navigate to the _Accountant_ section and select **Trial Balance**.
*   Click the **Customise** **Report** option.
*   Select the option **Choose date range** and select the date range.
*   Click Run **Report**.
