When I try to update the opening balance of an account, I’m getting an error that transactions have been reconciled and the opening balance amount cannot be modified. What should I do?

You will get this error if you’ve created transactions on dates prior to the opening balance date entered in Zoho Books and you have reconciled the bank account associated with the transactions.

To resolve this error, undo or delete the reconciliation. You will be able to update the opening balance of the account after undoing or deleting the reconciliation. Ensure that you reconcile the transactions after updating the account’s opening balance.
