# How do I transfer an item between two locations in Zoho Books?

If you’ve integrated your Zoho Books organisation with Zoho Inventory, or if you’re on the **Elite** and **Ultimate** plans of Zoho Books, you can create a [transfer order](https://www.zoho.com/inventory/help/warehouses/transfer-orders.html).

If you’re using other paid plans of Zoho Books, you can:

*   Create Location 1 as a customer and Location 2 as a vendor.
*   [Create an invoice](/books/help/invoice/#create-invoice-in) for the Location 1 customer and create a bill for the Location 2 vendor.
