# How do I send email alerts to people whose details are not stored in my Zoho Books organization?

To send email alerts to people whose details are not stored in your Zoho Books organization:

*   Go to **Settings** in the top right corner.
*   Click **Workflow Actions** under _Automation_.
*   Click **\+ New Email Alert**.
*   Enter a **Name** and select a **Module** for which you want to associate the email alert.
*   Select an **Email Template**.
*   Enter the email addresses of the people whose details are not stored in your Zoho Books organization in the **Email Recipients** field.
*   Click **Save**.

Every time this email alert is triggered, the contacts that you added to the **Email Recipients** field will receive an email.
