# Should I be aware of anything before creating a backdated subscriptions?

Yes, there are a few things to be aware of:

*   No information on renewals or payments recorded will be available for backdated subscriptions.
*   Backdating a subscription affects only the subscription activation date and can be tracked under Reports tab.
*   No invoice will be generated for earlier subscription creation and renewals.
*   Invoices will be generated for subscription renewals happening in the current time period after creating the backdated subscription.
