User Roles and Access Privileges
The various user roles and privileges that can be granted to users in Zoho Projects are as follows :

Portal Owner (Administrator) is the one who has all the privileges of administrator with additional permission to access upgrade/billing process, change portal url and owner.
Note : There can be only one portal administrator per portal.
Administrator is the one who has all privileges at the portal level like add projects, add/remove users, upload/edit/delete files, create folders, add/edit/delete tasks, subtasks, milestones, create forum topics and schedule meetings.
A Manager has all privileges at the project level like add projects, add/remove users, upload/edit/delete files, create folders, add/edit/delete tasks, subtasks, milestones, create forum topics and schedule meetings.
Employee is a normal user who works for the project with limited privileges like view milestones, add/edit tasks, upload files in a project, post a topic in forums.
Contractor is the one who works in a project for a specified period of time. After the expiry of the contract period the administrator will revoke their access for the project.
A company or organization for whom the projects are done. Example: Bowman Furnitures. A user who has access to see the progress of a project from the client company, Eg : email@example.com.
Client user can add tasks, view milestones, upload files and actively participate in forum discussions.
