Hierarchical Approval
Note: You can set Hierarchical Approval only for the Purchase Requests and Request for Quotes modules.
Hierarchical Approval in Zoho Procurement allows records to be approved based on the reporting structure in your organization. When enabled, approvals are automatically sent to the appropriate managers in sequence, ensuring that requests follow the defined organizational hierarchy.
Set Up Hierarchical Approval
To direct records in a module to approvers based on your organization’s reporting hierarchy, you can set up Hierarchical Approval. Here’s how:
- Go to Settings on the left sidebar.
- Click the module for which you want to set hierarchical approval.
- Go to the Approvals tab.
- Click Hierarchical Approval.
- Click Save.
