When I try to delete a user in Zoho Books, I get the error, “This user cannot be deleted as they are a part of the Zoho Practice organization. Disable the integration to delete this user.” What should I do?
If you get this error, you must first unlink the Zoho Practice account associated with the user present in Zoho Books. Here’s how:
- Log into your Zoho Books organization.
- Go to Accountant on the left sidebar and select My Accountant.
- Click Remove Practice Link in the top right corner.
- In the pop-up that appears, click OK to confirm.
The client will now be unlinked with Zoho Books and will be available as a non-Zoho client in your Zoho Practice organization. You can now delete the client in Zoho Practice. Here’s how:
- Log into your Zoho Practice organization.
- Go to Clients on the left sidebar.
- Select the required client.
- Click the More icon in the top right corner and select Delete from the dropdown.
- In the pop-up that appears, click OK to confirm.
The respective client will be deleted.
