The challenge

As NIIT Foundation expanded to nearly 930 employees distributed across India, its existing HR system—built on Tally and Excel—could no longer keep pace. Beyond scale limitations, the tools left employees with limited visibility into organizational policies, activities, and attendance. Frequent bugs and unexpected downtime further impacted efficiency. As a result, the organization prioritized finding a solution that could not only streamline HR operations but also integrate seamlessly with other business systems.

The solution

According to Amar Gupta, Operations Director, the decision to choose Zoho People was not immediate.
